Course Overview
Theory:
Gas Physiology: Understanding the effects of high oxygen concentrations and how to manage them safely.
Gas Management: Planning dives with enriched air nitrox, including calculations for maximum operating depth (MOD), oxygen exposure, and decompression limits.
Dive Planning: Advanced dive tables and dive computers, planning multi-level dives, and using redundant gas sources.
Practical Skills:
Equipment Setup: Familiarization with specialized equipment, including oxygen-clean gear and dive cylinders for high-oxygen blends.
Gas Analysis: Techniques for analyzing gas mixtures before a dive and understanding the importance of accurate readings.
Safety Procedures: Emergency protocols, recognizing oxygen toxicity symptoms, and handling issues that may arise during high-oxygen dives.
Open Water Dives:
Dives 1 and 2: Conduct a dive using a Nitrox blend within recreational limits to apply theory in practice.
Dives 3 and 4: Actual staged decompression training focusing on the use of advanced Nitrox mixes in a controlled setting.
You can extend your training with the GAS BLENDER course, which gives you the authorization to prepare breathing gas mixtures for yourself and other divers.

If you have your own car, you can come to our dive center Ola Diving in Costa Adeje. In case you need to be picked up, please choose one of the options:
- Transfer in Tenerife South if you are in the South (from Callao Salvaje to el Médano): 2 euros per person
- Transfer from Playa la Arena if you are in the West (Alcalá, Playa la Arena, Puerto Santiago): 15 euros per car, max 8 passengers in one car.
