Overview of the PADI Divemaster Program

Divemaster is the first professional level in the PADI system of diver education. As a PADI Divemaster, you will acquire a high level of diving knowledge, skills, and experience, qualifying you to assist PADI instructors with dive courses and accompany certified divers on recreational dives. The Divemaster course involves knowledge development, practical application, and hands-on training. It covers topics such as dive theory, diving physics, physiology, equipment, environment, and dive planning. You will learn about dive leadership and how to supervise dive activities, assist with student divers, and conduct certain PADI programs. To complete the Divemaster course, you need to have 60 registered dives, and pass the final exams, which include written assessments, practical application evaluations, and a rescue assessment. How to get to Ola Diving Center

If you have your own car, you can come to our dive center Ola Diving in Costa Adeje. In case you need to be picked up, please choose one of the options:
- Transfer in Tenerife South if you are in the South (from Callao Salvaje to el Médano): 2 euros per person
- Transfer from Playa la Arena if you are in the West (Alcalá, Playa la Arena, Puerto Santiago): 15 euros per car, max 8 passengers in one car.
