Twinset Hogardian / DIR configuration

Diving with two cylinders opens up new possibilities for the diver. It extends the possibility of staying underwater, increases safety due to the duplication of diving equipment and is an introduction to technical and decompression dives. Most technical divers use a twinset system.
Despite appearances, using such an equipment configuration is not that easy. It requires additional knowledge, skills and practice. That is why the best divers using twinset have created important rules about the equipment configuration and the rules of use. They call them the Hogardian configuration or DIR (Doing It Right) configuration.
During the Training we will teach you from the basics how to configure the twinset correctly, how to use it and the emergency procedures. We will perform the practical exercise during 4 dives. Minimum requirements: Advance level, age 15 or older, 20 logged dives.

Sidemount configuration

Diving with a sidemount configuration is diving with two cylinders placed not typically because on the side of the diver's body and not on his back. Over the last decades, this configuration has boomed and is becoming more and more popular in the world. The advantage is having a duplicate dive set. It allows you to dive longer and safer.
With the ease of attaching and detaching cylinders, the sidemoun configuration creates many advantages for the diver. It is easy to transport, and without cylinders it is extremely lightweight and can be travelled with. It allows the use of a single cylinder. It makes it easier to enter narrow spaces such as wrecks or caves. It is a favourite kit of many technical divers. This course can be a prelude to starting technical diving training.
During the Training we will teach you how to set up the sidemoun, how to use it correctly and the emergency procedures. We will perform the practical exercise during 4 dives. Minimum requirements: Advance level, age 15 or older, 20 logged dives.
